No credit check catalogues for people with bad credit

If you have had a few problems like a split with a partner, or you have lost your job, its easy to end up with some bad credit history, but in the need of essential goods and services like children’s clothes, fridges, freezers, washing machines or sofas.

If you move house, you can’t sit on the floor can you and if you don’t have much money, you need credit.  Home shopping catalogues can often be a great way to get some of these goods and pay weekly over 52 or more weeks.

If you have a lot of bad credit history you may struggle to get a catalogue.  Do “no credit check catalogues” exist?  In short – no, but there are some catalogue companies that will tolerate a certain amount of older bad debt.  In the early days the catalogue company will trust a new account with a small limit, but over time if the account is well run, you could be awarded a progressively higher and higher limit enabling you to purchase furniture, large flat screen tv’s, ps3’s and other higher value items, again with easy weekly payments over say 52 weeks.
